won the beta, the peak was something around 40.000+ with ~3k games being played at the moment
now we got 20.000 games right now so i think we got over 200,000 people online in total.

too bad the ingame online numbers shows unnecessary information and not the total sc2 players, like it did before

Just wait for the weekend or later on when most people are tired of single-player and will try multi-player. Then the numbers will soar.

it's nice that single player and multiplayer are tied to each other so well
(since you have the "always-on experience and must be logged in).
the step from single to mutli was never made so easy.
on ESO it was kinda tough, only 2% of all people who bought aoe3 played multiplayer for a longer period of time

I actually dislike the "you have to be online thing". I wanted to play the Singleplayer in the internetless time.

Yeah, it's pretty unreal how many people are online at a time. I've never played the same person twice in quick match.

im buying my sc2 digital copy tomorrow :D. ive already got it installed

SC2 sold round about 1,8 mio copies on the first day excluding korea

It's unlikely you will on B.Net, unless you get to be very high ranked

hm i saw over 30.000 games yesterday, usually teh amount of people online is 8-10x as high
