Track changes made to AOE3 TWC TAD Quick Reference since its original version.
Version 5Thu May 22, 2008 2:05 am by CyclohexaneUpdated for Patch 1.01a
Version 4Thu Feb 28, 2008 7:18 pm by Cyclohexane• Added unique church technology toggle switches and their respective unique units.
• Added monastery technologies in the Hero Comparison and all of the new TAD auras from shipments or technologies.
• Added Aztec Ruthlessness toggle switch (for Eagle Knight) and Flamethrower to Light Infantry Comparison
• Added a worksheet called "Unit Upgrades Available". This worksheet summarizes all of the upgrades available. I was careful not to include the % upgrades of shipments / technologies twice (if already has a toggle switch on respective comparison worksheet). Now you can type in these values into the yellow highlighted cells (speed, damage, or hit point cells), toggle specific shipments & technologies, select an age, and view statistics of a fully upgraded unit. Anything can be easily simulated and then sorted based on the effectiveness calculation and type of damage received!
Version 3Mon Jan 28, 2008 4:38 am by Cyclohexane• Added worksheet "Misc - Damage Capacity Summary" and updated Table of Contents
• Updated "Consulate Summary" to add a note about China's Banner School and Acupuncture HC shipments on consulate armies.
• Updated "Home City Shipments - Asians" worksheet for Banner School and Acupuncture.
• Updated "Home City - Trickle Shipments" worksheet to split resource equivalents and export equivalents of villagers.
• Updated "Map Summary" with details from I__CHAOS__I of the N3O Clan.
• Updated "Misc - Random Notes" worksheet with more notes
• Updated "Resource Rate - Gathering Times" worksheet with detailed villager equivalents of banks and factories.
• Updated "Unit Classifications and Counters" worksheet with clarification of the new light infantry units.
• Updated "Units - China" worksheet to show how the HC shipments "Banner School" and "Acupuncture" affect train times. Also added a villager equivalent calculator for both auto spawn wonders.
• Updated "Units - Japan" worksheet to show villager equivalents of Dojos with or without upgrades (Wonder and Dojo technology).
• Updated "Units - Minor Native Statistics" worksheet (few minor errors).
• Updated "Technology - Arsenal Upgrades" worksheet with more detailed notes.
Version 2Wed Dec 12, 2007 5:18 am by Cyclohexane• Added a Table of Contents with descriptions and hyperlinks for easy navigation through the manual (or online).
• Moved the Revolution Units from the “Revolution & Units” worksheet into their own worksheet “Units – Revolution” for better organization (all unit worksheets are now in the same location) and renamed the original worksheet to “Revolution Summary”.
Version 1Sat Dec 08, 2007 7:09 pm by CyclohexaneTWC to TAD Changes
• Updated the "Buildings -Defensive Structures" worksheet with new TAD buildings to show damage output and HP.
• Removed the bug list. It was to much work to keep an up-to-date list of all the bugs. Instead I report my bugs to these websites and placed a link on the main page.
• Updated the "Building Summary" worksheet with new TAD buildings and added a villager second cost for building costs. Make sure you click the “+” grouping button on each building for more information.
• Updated the "Breakeven - HC Shipment" worksheet with new TAD shipments (find out the minimum number of units required for China’s New Army HC shipment, etc.)
• Updated the "Breakeven - Native Big Button" worksheet (add minor native break even technologies)
• Added "Consulate Summary" worksheet: This includes how to calculate export and all the shipments, how things work, times, HC card effects, etc.
• Updated the "Experience Guide" worksheet with new TAD rules and XP generation techniques
• Updated the "HC Level & Single Player Edit" worksheet with new leveling rules
• Added a "HC Shipment -Trickle Comparison" worksheet. Ever wondered exactly how many villager equivalents these shipments give (late and early game, just change the upgrade %).
• Updated the "Healing and Repairing" worksheet with units, buildings, and abilities
• Added a "Home City Shipments - Asians" worksheet. Included in all of the HC shipment lists is now a villager second equivalent for all the resource and military HC shipments. In same respect, I split German shipments to show uhlan bonus and calculate VS correctly. This helps to show the increase in villager seconds for Indian and German shipments (and how it is offset). Also, notice those arrows at the top of the page, use them to automatically sort for all Britain age 2 team cards (well, for anything you want).
• Updated the "Map Summary" worksheet with all the new Asian Maps
• Updated the "Maps & Minor Natives" and renamed to "Minor Natives, Temples, & Maps" worksheet. Added a VS calculator for the Native American Treaties HC shipment!
• Updated the "Technology - Minor Native" worksheet and renamed to “Minor Native Technologies” with the new TAD minor natives.
• Updated the "Market Analysis" worksheet for all of the new TAD civilizations advanced market spin-offs. Just click what you want to look at from a drop down menu and it automatically updates the table. Perhaps China could benefit if a lot of gold is needed early in a not yet developed Colonial rush (1.3 sell rate).
• Added some TAD related miscellaneous notes in the "Miscellaneous Notes" worksheet
• Updated the "Politicians" worksheet with all the new Asian Wonders. Now called "Politicians, Councils, & Wonders"
• Updated the "Resource Rate - Gathering Times" worksheet with the new resources available (rice paddy, etc.)
• Updated the "Resource Rate - Livestock" worksheet with the new livestock in TAD (goat, water buffalo, etc.) and included China's fattening penalty
• Added "Resource Rate - Shrine" worksheet: Learn how it is calculated, play with different scenarios by changing the total number of shrines, animals on the shrines, the bonus multiplier effect from Wonder, HC shipments, technologies, etc. My conclusion, Japan has a weak late game economy.
• Added a "Resource Rate – Sacred Field" worksheet: A calculator was added to determine XP generation based on number of cows, sheep (or any livestock), HC shipments, etc. Learn what is useful and what is useless!
• Updated the "Starting Conditions" worksheet for the new civilizations and maps. China has a huge starting crate bug.
• Updated the "Technology - Arsenal Upgrades" worksheet for the new civilizations.
• Updated the "Technology - Church Summary" with the new Church techs for the Asian civilizations
• Updated the "Technology - Resource Summary" to show the new market, rice paddy, etc effects and VS costs
• Updated all of the new units including guardians, pets, consulate units (yes it shows the auto upgrades), mercenaries, minor natives, etc. There is even some bonus information in some of the spreadsheets such as the best unit to spawn from the Dojo (in terms of VS seconds / spawn time) / Wonder.
• Updated the "Unit Classification" worksheet (allows filters of proto file definition) with all the new TAD units and new TAD classifications
• Updated the "Unit Classification & Counters" worksheet (a quick 1 page summary of all the units and counters)
• Updated the "Unit Train Times" worksheet for all the new units. Notice you can filter this worksheet for whatever civilization you choose. In other words, selecting “Yes” in the drop down filter for China will show all of China’s units. Selecting “Yes” for Britain and France for example will show all the units these civilizations have in common, etc.
• Fixed a few minor errors and made entire document easier to read. Please notice that all of the worksheets are formatted for printing. If there are some extra spaces, it is to make it look nice on paper. If it looks strange on your monitor, keep in mind I use a widescreen with 1440 x 900 resolution. |
