Announcing RTS Broadcast |
|
|
Here's an introduction for the RTS Broadcast site (can also be veiwed on the front page of the site itself), a new site developed by some of the guys at LoSt- clan:
It all started with a quick comment about broadcasting games from Hunter Cup from our very own Crjensen4 who gave us the idea and spread into a design and plan to have a website that offered live coverage in any tournament or league willing to allow us to do so. Our first live coverage will be of the LoSt- and =SMR= sponsored tournament finals of Hunter Cup which will be soon to announced date and time. We have a small but very dedicated staff of StylO who is our awesome coder and designer, Crjensen4 our owner and man behind the scenes, matsujun our generous sponsor and leader of our japanese side, and me BT who just admins and what not ;).
In the future we will continue to broadcast live games and coverage of tournaments with commentation in Japanese by matsujun and in English by MrMilo. In short if there are any tournaments out there that you would like to be hosted on this site and have a fairly large amount of players and viewers we would love to have you. In the near future we will be introducing a Betting System which is widely used in the Starcraft community and be hosting all instructional VOD's by MrMilo and Ensemble Studios. We will have all the recs from our tournaments hosted on this site and hope you continue to come to our website even while there are now tournaments being run.
Future Broadcasts include RTS-League, Many various Japanese run tournaments, future LoSt- and =SMR= Sponsored tournaments, and quite frankly any high class tournaments you all in the community would like the world to see.
Be sure to show your support by registering at the site: www.rtsbroadcast.com and checking it out!
Today will see the live broadcast of the Hunter Cup Finals with 2 peoples favourites, StarSky vs Naturepheonix, live commentry will be by anothe favourite, Parfait! It will be shown live at 14:00 GMT

Quick Reference and Unit Comparison Update for Patch 1.01 by Cyclohexane |
|
|
DOWNLOAD: Quick Reference AOE3 TWC TAD
DOWNLOAD: Unit Comparison AOE3 TWC TAD
ONLINE: On-line Version Here
I know it has been a long time coming but my home, work, and hobby life has been at maximum output. Gaming is beginning to become a real treat in my schedule, much less working for free. I updated all of the content of both guides with all the new patch changes.
I included all of the hidden information not clearly defined in the patch notes such as pet unit statistics, converted guardian damage, the new standard map rotation, fire pit times and details, China’s Porcelain Tower wonder details of export and XP generation, and of course how the new (and old) multipliers work for all the units in the game.
For example, all light infantry receives a x2 multiplier to light cavalry. However, they also receive a 0.75 multiplier to heavy cavalry (defined in proto file as cavalry). Since light cavalry is also classified as cavalry, the actual bonus is 2 x 0.75 = 1.5 (no change).
This is a real slap in the face to eagle knights since light infantry does receive a x2 bonus versus them (not classified as cavalry). Either the designers of the patch do not understand how multipliers work or they really hated eagle knights. Considering all the direct and indirect nerfs to eagle knights, this seems a bit excessive to me. Not that the Aztec players have much to complain about in this patch. Don't get me wrong, it is a good patch, I just foresaw what’s happening now when I read it.
However, I am not here to discuss the patch changes, there are plenty of threads about that already. I am just giving yet one more gift to the community doing ES / BHG job for them. If you have never seen either of these guides, now is the time, it is bigger and better than ever before. If you are familiar with the guides, you will not be disappointed with this update.

RTSL Season 2 is upon us! |
|
|
N3O made their first appearance in the RTS League 2 seasons ago. We were pretty much completey unknown as we had never taken part before, and most of the clans who were mainly returning clans and regulars in the RTSL were of a much higher standard.
Needless to say, N3O were completely outplayed, and outclassed through the whole season. None the less, we held our heads high, and played our best showing that N3O are a great clan with great sportsmanship.
The future of RTSL was uncertain after this as the main orginiser retired and they lest the site, along with a committed person to keep it running.
Luckily though people stepped forward, and took on the roles of setting up a new site, orginsing entries, and setting up the league so that once again clans could pit their best against eachother for bragging rights.
The second season for N3O saw us almost causing a few big upsets and winning our first game in RTSL.
Having gained the respect of other players and clans, we are now returning for our 3rd season at RTSL (starting this week) with strong clan of over 100 players and a handfull of players around the 2000 cuetech mark.
Lets hope this next season is as good as the last!
